Driving the No. 9 WeatherTech / Red Bull Chevrolet Camaro despite a malfunctioning cool suit, van Gisbergen led 27 of 50 laps from the pole and crossed the finish line 0.823 seconds clear of Zilisch to claim his second-straight Xfinity Series Chicago victory. He backed it up the following day by winning the Cup Series race, completing a full weekend sweep on the streets of Chicago.
