Kyle Larson dominated the inaugural NASCAR Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway on June 20, 2021, leading 264 of 300 laps to win the Ally 400 for Hendrick Motorsports. Driving the No. 5 Valvoline Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, Larson pulled away from the field by more than five seconds in the closing laps, crossing the finish line 4.335 seconds ahead of runner-up Ross Chastain. The victory was Larson's third consecutive points-paying win, a streak not matched in the Cup Series since Jimmie Johnson's four straight in 2007, and came at a track hosting its first Cup race since 1984.
