Kyle Larson drives the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series. The reigning Cup Series champion enters 2026 as a two-time series titlist and one of the most versatile racers in modern NASCAR.

Born July 31, 1992 in Elk Grove, California, Larson started in outlaw karts at age seven and progressed through dirt sprint cars and midgets before reaching NASCAR through the Drive for Diversity program. He earned Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in 2014 with Chip Ganassi Racing.

Larson joined Hendrick Motorsports in 2021 and produced one of the most dominant seasons in modern NASCAR history, winning ten races, the All-Star Race, and the Cup Series championship. He added a second title in 2025. His career includes 32 Cup wins, three All-Star Race victories (2019, 2021, 2023), and crown-jewel triumphs at the 2021 Coca-Cola 600, 2023 Southern 500, and 2024 Brickyard 400. NASCAR named Larson to its 75 Greatest Drivers list in 2023.

A regular winner in dirt-track racing, Larson has multiple Knoxville Nationals, Kings Royal, and Chili Bowl Nationals victories, and attempted the Indianapolis 500 / Coca-Cola 600 double in 2024 and 2025. The Kyle Larson Foundation supports the Urban Youth Racing School and the Sanneh Foundation.
