Jeff Gordon 1994 DuPont Charlotte Motor Speedway Race Win 1:64 Diecast

Jeff Gordon scored his first career Cup Series victory in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 29, 1994, in his 42nd start. The Hendrick Motorsports #24 DuPont Chevrolet Lumina won the pole and led only 16 laps, but crew chief Ray Evernham called for two tires on the final pit stop while the leaders took four — a call that put Gordon out front for the final nine laps. In Victory Lane the 22-year-old Gordon called it "the greatest day of my life."
