The finish was anything but routine: skewed steering and chattering tires in the final laps opened the door for teammate Kaden Honeycutt, who closed hard before Heim held him off by 0.090 seconds. The victory was Heim's second of the 2026 season and the 25th of his career, fifth-most all-time. The win also netted Heim a $100,000 Triple Truck Challenge bonus after he had won the opening challenge race at Darlington.
