North Wilkesboro Speedway is a 0.625-mile asphalt short track in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
The track features 13 degrees of banking in the turns and 3 degrees on the straights. North Wilkesboro opened in 1947 and is owned by Speedway Motorsports. The frontstretch is graded downhill and the backstretch uphill, an elevation quirk dating to the original construction. The track was repaved in 2022 as part of a state-funded revival project.
North Wilkesboro hosted Cup Series races from 1949 through 1996 before falling dormant for nearly three decades. After hosting the NASCAR All-Star Race from 2023 through 2025, the track returns to the Cup Series points schedule in 2026 for the first time since 1996, hosting a 450-lap event. Richard Petty holds the all-time Cup wins record at the track with 15.
