Dale Earnhardt Jr. made his first-ever Pro Late Model start on September 4, 2026, at Florence Motor Speedway, driving the No. 23 GMS Racing entry in the zMAX CARS Tour 100-lap feature. Racing against an experienced field of short-track specialists, the NASCAR Hall of Famer ran competitively throughout and finished second behind race winner Kaden Honeycutt, with Treyton Lapcevich third. This officially licensed Lionel Racing raced-version diecast replicates Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 23 as it appeared at race's end, complete with race-worn markings.
