Driving the damaged No. 1 Jockey 150th Anniversary Chevrolet for JR Motorsports, Zilisch had clawed back 18 seconds of deficit over the final 25 laps before slipping through the mud at the Bus Stop chicane with six laps left, damaging his undercarriage. He adjusted his lines and caught Love in Turn 7, winning by 0.262 seconds. The victory, his 13th career O'Reilly Series win and second of 2026, made Zilisch one of only three drivers to win three consecutive O'Reilly Series races at Watkins Glen, joining Terry Labonte and Marcos Ambrose.
