Riley Herbst drives the No. 35 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, where he enters his second full-time season in 2026 alongside teammates Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick.

Born February 24, 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Herbst is a third-generation racer from a family rooted in off-road competition. His father Troy, grandfather Jerry, and uncles Ed and Tim are all veterans of the Baja 500 and Baja 1000, and the quartet was inducted into the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame in 2014. The Herbst family also operates Terrible's, a Las Vegas-area chain of convenience locations. Riley started racing karts at age five and progressed through legends, Speed Trucks, and Super Late Models at Irwindale Speedway.

Herbst has three career NASCAR Xfinity Series victories with Stewart-Haas Racing in the No. 98 Ford. His first national-series win came in October 2023 at his home track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He won at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval in 2024 in O'Reilly's return to the brick. He also won the Phoenix season-finale race at Phoenix Raceway in 2024 to cap that season. Herbst made his Cup Series debut in the 2023 Daytona 500 with Rick Ware Racing, finishing 10th, and joined 23XI Racing full-time in 2025 in the team's third charter.
