Ram returned to NASCAR competition in 2026 after a 13-year absence, becoming the fourth current manufacturer in the Craftsman Truck Series. Ram races exclusively in the Truck Series for the 2026 season, with parent company Stellantis indicating eventual interest in expanding to the Cup Series. Ram fields the Ram 1500 in the Craftsman Truck Series. Kaulig Racing serves as Ram's exclusive partner team, fielding a five-truck operation that includes full-time entries plus a rotating Free Agent Driver program and a roster seat awarded through the "Race for the Seat" reality competition. Ram first entered NASCAR through the Dodge brand in the early years of the Truck Series. Bobby Hamilton won the brand's first Truck Series championship in 2004 driving a Dodge Ram. Ram spun off as a separate brand from Dodge in 2010 and competed under its own name through 2012 before exiting the sport.
