Phoenix Raceway is a 1-mile low-banked oval in Avondale, Arizona, in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
The track features variable banking of 10 to 11 degrees in turns one and two and 8 to 9 degrees in turns three and four, with the start-finish line and pit road relocated as part of a 2018 reconfiguration. Phoenix opened in 1964 and is owned by NASCAR. The flat, dogleg layout produces a distinctive racing style closer to a short track than an intermediate.
Phoenix hosts the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race in years when the title weekend is awarded to Phoenix. The track has hosted the season finale and Championship 4 from 2020 through 2025, making it the site of multiple recent Cup Series title decisions. The fall race serves as one of the most pressure-packed events on the calendar when Phoenix hosts the championship. The track also hosts a spring race weekend.
