Michigan International Speedway is a 2-mile D-shaped oval in Brooklyn, Michigan.

The track features 18 degrees of banking in the turns and 12 degrees on the frontstretch. Michigan opened in 1968 and is owned by NASCAR. The wide racing surface, sweeping turns, and high speeds make Michigan one of the fastest non-superspeedway tracks on the Cup Series schedule, with cars regularly exceeding 200 mph in qualifying.
