Hyak Motorsports is a Harrisburg, North Carolina based NASCAR team competing in the Cup Series with Chevrolet. The organization rebranded from JTG Daugherty Racing ahead of the 2025 season after entrepreneur Gordon Smith became principal owner at the conclusion of 2023. The name "Hyak" means "fast" in Chinook Jargon, a trade language of the Pacific Northwest.

The team's roots trace to 1995 as ST Motorsports, evolving into JTG Racing in 2006 under Tad and Jodi Geschickter. Former NBA All-Star Brad Daugherty joined the ownership group in 2008 to form JTG Daugherty Racing. The organization began competing independently in the Cup Series in 2009 and has earned two Cup Series victories during its single-car era. A.J. Allmendinger captured the team's first win at Watkins Glen in August 2014. The signature triumph came when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won the 2023 Daytona 500.

The current ownership group consists of Smith as majority owner along with Daugherty, Mark Hughes, and Ernie Cope. The Geschickters relinquished their stakes during the rebrand. For the 2026 Cup Series season, Hyak fields a single full-time entry: Stenhouse Jr. in the No. 47 Chevrolet, continuing the partnership that produced the team's Daytona 500 victory.

Hyak Motorsports is a single-car operation with a focused racing program. The team has earned a victory in each of the two seasons preceding the rebrand and has positioned its 2026 program around continuing that trajectory under crew chief and competition leadership refinements made during the ownership transition.
