Harrison Burton drives the No. 24 Toyota GR Supra for Sam Hunt Racing in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series. The Huntersville, North Carolina native, born October 9, 2000, returned to the Toyota pipeline in 2026 after stints with Wood Brothers Racing and AM Racing in his Cup Series and Xfinity Series years.
Burton is the son of former Cup driver and current NBC Sports analyst Jeff Burton, the nephew of 2002 Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton, and the cousin of fellow O'Reilly Series competitor Jeb Burton. He came up through the Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing development pipeline, winning four Xfinity Series races during the 2020 season. In 2020 he became the first driver born in the 2000s to win a NASCAR national series race.
His Cup tenure with Wood Brothers Racing from 2022 to 2024 produced one signature victory: the August 2024 race at Daytona International Speedway, which doubled as the Wood Brothers' historic Cup win and earned Burton his first Cup playoff berth. He also became the first driver born in the 2000s to win a Cup Series race. The 2025 season brought a return to the second-tier level with AM Racing, where he made the playoffs in the team's first postseason appearance.
Burton also serves as the reserve driver for Legacy Motor Club in the 2026 Cup Series. He competes as a road racer for Ford Motor Company in IMSA's Michelin Pilot Challenge, partnering with Zane Smith to win the 2023 Daytona season opener.
