Connor Zilisch drives the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Trackhouse Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. The Mooresville, North Carolina native, born July 22, 2006, is one of the most decorated young drivers in American motorsports and enters 2026 as a Cup Series rookie.
Zilisch signed with Trackhouse as a developmental driver in 2024 and made an immediate impression. He won his Xfinity Series debut at Watkins Glen in August 2024, joining a short list of drivers to win their first start at NASCAR's national level. He spent 2025 driving the No. 88 for JR Motorsports, where he claimed Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year honors with 10 race wins and a record 18 consecutive top-five finishes.
His resume extends well beyond stock cars. Zilisch won the LMP2 class at the 2024 Rolex 24 at Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring the same year. He is also a Red Bull athlete and has been mentored by 2014 Cup champion Kevin Harvick.
For his Cup rookie season, Zilisch is paired with crew chief Randall Burnett, who joined Trackhouse from Richard Childress Racing. He inherits the No. 88 from Shane van Gisbergen, who moved to the No. 97 to make room. Zilisch races alongside Trackhouse teammates Ross Chastain and van Gisbergen as the team continues to develop its young stable. He lives in Mooresville near the team's North Carolina base.
