Cleetus McFarland, the racing persona of Lawrence Garrett Mitchell, competes across three NASCAR series in 2026. He drives the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro SS for Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
Born April 5, 1995, McFarland is best known as the operator of the Cleetus McFarland YouTube channel, which counts more than 4.7 million subscribers and chronicles his automotive and racing pursuits. His transition from social-media performer to NASCAR competitor accelerated through 2025 and 2026.
McFarland has also announced ARCA Menards Series starts at Daytona, Kansas, Talladega, and Michigan for 2026. He has been approved for full Truck competition but remains limited to short tracks in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series under NASCAR's progressive approval process for new drivers.
Off the NASCAR schedule, McFarland is a popular Youtuber and operates Freedom Factory, a Florida short-track facility where he stages exhibition events and produces much of his video content.
