Chase Elliott drives the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the NASCAR Cup Series. The 2020 Cup Series champion is the son of NASCAR Hall of Famer Bill Elliott, and he has been NASCAR's Most Popular Driver every year since 2018, an eight-time honoree through 2025.

Born November 28, 1995 in Dawsonville, Georgia, Elliott grew up at his father's race shop in the small town long considered a birthplace of stock car racing. He won the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship at age 18, becoming the first rookie to win a NASCAR national-series title, before stepping into Hendrick's No. 24 in 2016 and moving to the No. 9 Chevrolet (his father's iconic number) in 2018.

Elliott has 22 NASCAR Cup Series victories, headlined by the 2020 Cup Series championship. He is one of the most accomplished road racers in modern Cup history, with seven road-course wins among his career total, and he captured the 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium and the 2020 NASCAR All-Star Race. His 2025 season included emotional hometown wins at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta and at Kansas in the playoffs. NASCAR named Elliott to its 75 Greatest Drivers list in 2023.

Outside the car, Elliott is an avid outdoorsman, snowboarder, and pilot. The Chase Elliott Foundation works closely with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and supports a range of charitable causes.
