Bristol Motor Speedway is a 0.533-mile concrete short track in Bristol, Tennessee. The track features 24 to 28 degrees of variable banking in the turns, making it one of the steepest-banked ovals in NASCAR.

Bristol opened in 1961 and is owned by Speedway Motorsports. The concrete surface, replaced from asphalt in 1992, contributes to high tire wear and a distinctive racing feel. The bullring seats over 145,000 fans and was nicknamed "The Last Great Colosseum" for its bowl-shaped, stadium-style seating.

Bristol's signature event is the Bristol Night Race, traditionally run under the lights and known for aggressive contact and short-track tempers. The track also hosts a spring Cup Series race and races in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and Craftsman Truck Series. A win at Bristol carries weight as one of NASCAR's most prestigious short-track victories.
