The Vallejo, California native, born August 4, 1971, drove the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports for his entire full-time Cup career from 1993 through 2015.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGordon won the Cup Series championship in 1995, 1997, 1998, and 2001. His 93 career Cup wins rank third on the all-time list behind only Richard Petty and David Pearson. Gordon also holds the all-time wins record at Watkins Glen International with nine and ranks among the leaders on restrictor-plate tracks.
